On 16th October 2010, CNEEC President signed the procurement contract of boilers, turbines and electric machines for HONGSA Mine Mouth 3×600MW Power Project, with deputy general manager of Harbin Boiler Factory Mr. Che dongguang, deputy general manager of Harbin Turbine Factory Mr. Wang Hongchang, and deputy general manager of Harbin Electric Machine Factory Mr. Liu Weimin respectively. Vice-president of CNEEC Mr. Li Chengye and Chief Engineer of CNEEC Mr. Weng Zhiming also attended the signing ceremony.

In his speech, CNEEC President Zhao Ruolin made a brief introduction of the project and thanked the three manufacturers for their support. He said that as the largest overseas TPP project ever undertaken by Chinese companies, the project would be a breakthrough of CNEEC and symbolize a big progress of our vision "to become a domestic top-notched and internationally-recognized professional engineering company". He hoped that all sides could establish a tighter partnership for cooperation.

The leaders from the three manufacturers also delivered a speech respectively, in which they all made commitment to ensure the excellent quality of supplied products and expressed their wishes to deepen the cooperation with CNEEC in other fields.
