The social performance of a company not only lies in economic performance but also in its creation of social influence. CNEEC is devoted in social welfare, making efforts to benefit the public via charity donation activities. It has been requiting to the society for the good faith of kindness and generosity.

During the Covid-19 epidemic, CNEEC White Russia Representative Office assisted White Russia Chinese Chamber of Commerce to purchase 236 boxes of anti-epidemic materials to support the anti-epidemic cause at the front line in Hubei.

CNEEC Pakistan Subsidiary was entrusted by Chongqing Municipal Government to purchase more than 2 million masks and nearly 1,000 thermometers in the shortest time to help prevent and control the epidemic.

After the earthquake in Wenchuan, Sichuan in 2008, the drought in southern provinces in early 2009 and the earthquake in Yushu, Qinghai, CNEEC made immediate capital and material donation to the distress areas, with a total sum of RMB 760,000;

While undertaking the coal-fired power plant project (3X330MW) in Indramayu, Indonasia, CNEEC supported local educational and health care development via capital and material donation to the local educational institutions and regular funds to local hospitals and other health care institutions;

The project department of MORUPULE B 4×150MW coal-fired power plant in Botswana donated 20,000 pula, the project department, together with the representative office in Myanmar, procured a batch of anti-epidemic materials respectively in the local area where the materials were in short supply and donated them to the front line of anti-epidemic in Hubei.

CNEEC has donated used office furniture and computer equipment to the community to improve the environment and the infrastructure

The Company organizes its employees to make free blood donations every year;

While working on the hydropower project in Vitebsk, Belorussia, the Company donated educational equipment to No. 44 Middle School of the city, the second one to which we donated after the local primary school;

While working on the power grid updating project in Côte d'Ivoire, we donated computers and footballs worth of $10,000 to local primary schools;

During the outbreak of the epidemic overseas, CNEEC donated 20,000 N95 masks to the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in China to help Bahrain fight against the epidemic.

CNEEC has donated RMB 300,000 to the primary school of Zhalantun City for reestablishment. The Company has also contributed funds to the “Poverty-relieving and Education-assisting” Love Fund and office supplies to primary schools of impoverished areas;

While undertaking the coal-fired power plant project (3X626MW) in Hongsa, Laos, as the EPC contractor, CNEEC supplied traffic lights to Hongsa, where the project was located, helped repair the customs house and funded various activities held by the local government;

While working on the coal-fired power plant project in Morupule B 4X150MW, Botswana, we employed local workers to help increase the local employment and reserve special funds to help local community every year, with the view of supporting the local society development.
