On August 31, Tajikistan President Rahmon met with Zhang Yan fei, president of CNEEC, and representatives from General Nice Group and Tajikistan Aluminum Company at Diao yu tai State Guesthouse during his visit in China.

After listening to the progress report of the CNEEC Kajie Coal Mine Project and having an understanding of the expectation for the cooperation of Ririkelude Coal Mine Project and China-Tajikistan Industrial Park Project between China and Tajikistan, Mr. President spoke highly of the achievements made by the two parties in the early stage of the project, and expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by CNEEC in promoting the bilateral cooperation. In addition, he encouraged CNEEC to actively participate in the development of mineral resources and water resources in Tajikistan and pursue great development in the cooperation between China and Tajikistan.
