On the afternoon of April 26, 2019, Mr. Ihor Syrota, General Director of Ukrhydroenergo Private Joint Stock Company, during his attendance at the Belt and Road Summit, was invited to lead a technical team to visit CNEEC. Zhang Yanfei, Chairman of CNEEC, Zhao Hui, President of CNEEC, Wu Guisheng, Vice President of CNEEC, and Zhao Yao, General Manager of No.5 Business Unit of CNEEC, attended the meeting.

Chairman Zhang Yanfei held friendly talks with Mr. Ihor Syrota. He said that since the China-Ukrainian Economic and Trade Forum 2018, the teams of both sides had been working actively and closely to strengthen cooperation. It was delighted to meet Mr. Ihor Syrota again on the occasion of the Belt and Road Summit. It was hoped that through the joint efforts of both sides, substantial progress in project development would be made as soon as possible. Mr. Ihor Syrota thanked Chairman Zhang Yanfei for his warm reception, as well as the hard work and achievements of both teams. Subsequently, the two sides conducted detailed and in-depth discussions and reached consensus on the promotion of cooperation projects, and signed the minutes on technical plan.
