Xuanhua Sewage Disposal Work, located in Xuanhua district of Zhangjiakou, 150km from Beijing, is an environmental protection project utilizingADB loan, in accordance with the three ideals of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games "Green Olympics, High-tech Olympics and People's Olympics". CNEEC undertook the contract via international bidding, and signed the EPCcontract in April, 2005. After final completion one year later, all the requests of the owner were satisfied, treating 120000 tons used water per day. It improved a lot the water environment of Xuanhua and contributed to the environmental protection for Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
