The extension project of Municipal Water Supply System in Lanzhou is funded by the Overseas Economic Cooperation Fund of Japan. The project kicked off in September, 2001, and passed the final completion acceptance in October, 2002. CNEEC was responsible for equipment supply, installation and testing of machinery, electricity and automatic instrument. After the extension, daily water output of the plant increased from 1 million tons to 1.37 million.
