Since the end of 1970s, in order to implement the national strategy of “West-East coal transmission project” which was firstly proposed at the beginning of reform and opening up, CNEEC had successfully undertaken the construction projects of power supply and illuminating system of the second, third and forth phases of the key state project ― Qinghuangdao Coal Terminal, including the project design, equipment supply, installation supervision, personnel training, etc. At present, Qinghuangdao has become the world’s biggest coal-transportation wharf with the coal-transportation capacity of 100 million tons per year. This project has not only achieved the state acceptance but also won the national contribution award for important project and national award for science & technology progress.
