CNEEC and Gerald Group (USA) signed the EPC Contract of Phase I & II for Marampa iron ore project in Sierra Leone on 28th June, 2018. Mr. Zhang Yanfei (President of CNEEC), Mr. Li Zhigang( General Manager of 2nd Division) and Mr. Craig Dean (President of Gerald Group), Mr. Frederic Lotti (Senior Vice President of Gerald Group) signed the EPC Contract on behalf of both Parties. Mr. Zheng Chengjun (Vice President of CNEEC), Mr. Gary Lerner (Executive Vice President of Gerald Group) and Mr. Wu Zhanming (Senior Vice President, Head of Asia of Gerald Group) attended the signing ceremony.
Before signing ceremony, both parties held a cordial meeting in friendly atmosphere. Mr. Zhang Yanfei said that CNEEC has the confidence and determination to complete Phase I of the project on time with nice quality and quantity in order to lay a solid foundation for Phase II of the project. Mr. Craig Dean spoke highly of the achievements and experience that CNEEC has made in the field of engineering contracting, and said that Gerald group, as the largest foreign investor in Sierra Leone, would like to collaborate and cooperate with CNEEC to jointly contribute to the domestic economic construction of Sierra Leone.
