On March 11, 2020, the Ferraz Antarctic Research Station of Brazil which is at 30 n.m. to the Great Wall Station - the first Antarctic research station of China, and also the first foreign research station undertaken by a Chinese company was completed successfully. CNEEC Engineering Dept. No. 1 undertook the technical service for commissioning of gray water treatment system and black water treatment system in the wastewater treatment works of this project, and successfully expanded its business domain to the Antarctic Continent, spreading the businesses of CNEEC over five continents in the world.

January 2019

After obtaining the information about this project, Engineering Dept. No. 1 organized its personnel to discuss and follow up this project, and was successfully elected to provide the relevant technical service for the wastewater treatment works of this project.

January 2020

The personnel allocated for this project arrived at the project site, and overcame many difficulties to perform their tasks. This project had strict requirements on the wastewater treatment equipment. Through the diligent communications between the relevant personnel of Engineering Dept. No. 1 and the equipment manufacturer, all the technical documents finally met the special requirements of research station such as small space and bad environmental.

February 4, 2020

Through the commissioning performed by the relevant personnel, the wastewater treatment equipment of this project succeeded at the first time, achieving the stable operation of the system and the acceptable quality of discharged water.

Middle of February

To ensure the efficient execution of subsequent tasks, the project personnel required the commissioning engineers to offer the site training to the workers of the Brazilian research station.

Upon completion of all tasks, the wastewater treatment system was officially handed over to the Ferraz Antarctic Research Station of Brazil. Up to now, the technical guidance for site commissioning of the Ferraz Antarctic Research Station of Brazil has been fully completed.

For the successful execution of this project, CNEEC has been well praised by CEIEC - the general contractor of this project; both the head of Brazilian research station and the supervision company of this project have expressed unanimous recognition and sincere thanks to the personnel from CNEEC, and sent a letter of appreciation.
