On the afternoon of December 17, a delegation led by Xiao Wensheng, Economic and Commercial Counsellor at the Chinese Embassy in Mauritania, visited the 60 MW dual-fuel power plant project undertaken by China National Electric Engineering Co., Ltd. (CNEEC) to inspect the construction progress.

At the site, Counsellor Xiao and his delegation inspected the construction status to gain detailed insights into the project’s overall planning, construction organization, and current progress. They engaged in in-depth discussions with the project department on key topics including project progress, risk management, and fulfillment of corporate responsibilities.

Counsellor Xiao spoke highly of the project team’s achievements to date, urging the project department to optimize construction processes while ensuring quality and safety, ensure timely delivery, and sustain the project’s sound development.
